With two locations in Barcelona's Born and Eixample neighborhoods, Bronzo has clearly figured something out, and one bite of their pasta tells you exactly what that is. We ordered the Squid ink pasta, Parpadelle in braised beef and a spinach salad. The pasta has that unmistakable freshly-made quality, tender but with body, the kind that takes a little effort and a lot of care to get right. The spinach salad was a nice, light contrast crisp, fresh cheese, and well-balanced. Now, here's the honest part. We snagged street-side tables for an early evening slot, which sounds lovely in theory. In practice? We were downwind of a steady parade of cocktail drinkers lighting up one after another. Endless smoke, entire meal. Totally killed the vibe. Here's the thing, that's on us. Spain's outdoor smoking culture is alive and well, and if you're not used to it, an early terrace dinner is a gamble. Next time? Inside table, later reservation.
Absolutely delicious Italian restaurant! Every dish was full of flavor and clearly made with care — a true delight for any food lover. The ambiance is lovely, though a heads-up: pets are only allowed in the outdoor seating. Highly recommended for an unforgettable meal!
